Caffi Rwanda Red Bourbon is a balanced, aromatic specialty coffee from the Gicumbi region in northern Rwanda. Its smooth, complex flavour combines the sweetness of ripe plum with the freshness of green apple and subtle notes of nuts, chocolate, and cocoa. A silky mouthfeel and pleasant finish complete the experience.
The coffee is grown at an altitude of 1,800–2,000 meters, and the cherries are processed at the Nova Coffee washing station. Red Bourbon is a traditional Arabica variety whose ripe cherries are dark red. In the natural process, the cherries are dried whole, highlighting the coffee’s natural sweetness and fruity flavour notes.
Caffi Red Bourbon is a light-medium roast. Its roast profile brings out the variety’s characteristic sweetness, nutty notes, and balanced finish. It is an excellent choice for filter coffee, pour-over, and espresso.
